Tom to Ride in the Great Cycle Challenge

Today I start the month long Great Cycle Challenge to ride 100 miles and benefit the Children’s Cancer Research Fund. It is unfortunately too late for our courageous son Justin, so I ride for your family, friends and children in your communities who are battling pediatric cancer. Thank you to those who have already donated to my ride and for those who haven’t please consider 25 cents, 50 cents or a dollar for each of my 100 miles. I will be sweating off my miles using the Peloton iPhone app streaming to my screen in the basement.

The Great Cycle Challenge has 30k riders and has already raised over $1.6M. On our team are 2 of the great doctors conducting Osteosarcoma research at the U of MN and a neighbor from our block who is also a cancer researcher.

Update

The Great Cycle Challenge is 8 days in and going great so far.  I have raised $1,155 and our Team Osteo has raised over $7,500 for Osteosarcoma research (which puts us 4th out of all the teams.  So far the 32k riders have raised over $2.3M for pediatric cancer research.
